Join us in deep diving into exploring neighbourhood parks, our most valuable local resource for access to nature and recreation. We demystify how local parks are planned, who manages them, and, importantly, how you can transform your neighbourhood parks as a resident. // WHAT WILL YOU GET TO LEARN? - Typologies of parks in the city and how they are differently planned - Crucial considerations for designing and programming a park to cater to all user groups - across age, ability and animals alike - Ground-up stories of 2 active citizens who have been instrumental in reclaiming their neighbourhood parks and making them inclusive This workshop is a part of our 'Decoding Public Spaces: Explore Series’, which aims to build evidence-based problem-solving capacity through knowledge sharing and skilling.
